This project is the second installment of the Reebok Classic story with Reebok. I opted to go with something different and more appropriate for the winter months. A mid version of the Classic Leather with a ripple outsole.
The Reebok x JackThreads Classic Leather Ripple Mid departs from the other two collab drops, while the first and the final launches are more understated, celebrating the classic nylon style, this drop introduces a new, more forward, sneakerboot silhouette. The Ripple Mid, features premium pigskin suede, nubuck leather and accents of JT’s brand color, orange.com.
Each drop has been distinctly tied to its launch season. Launch 1 was all about summer and retro styling. With Launch 2 you can see winter's inspiration with the darker colors and more sturdy sneakerboot construction. The final drop, in spring, will showcase lighter shades of mauve and olive. These drops have truly built on one another. We went from very minimal styling hits to a more progressive silhouette to a dramatic color scheme.
